In the summer of 2023, YuriKado ArtRoom offered a free art program for children ages 7 through 11. The program ran for seven weeks, with one-hour classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 pm. Children worked on a new project at each class. YuriKado provided all the supplies, easy-to-follow instructions, and plenty of support to help children finish their projects and take them home.

Sayuri M. led the classes. A kindhearted teenager with a love of art, Sayuri had spent years taking art lessons and attending summer camps, where she created many beautiful projects. Those experiences inspired her to create an art immersion program of her own, and YuriKado ArtRoom was born. She carefully selected projects that were easy, fun, and engaging, giving children the chance to create artwork they could be proud of.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a summer of creativity and art!
